Boltzmann Law This radiation law suggests the amount of radiation given off by a body is proportional to the 4th power of its temperature as measured in Kelvin units. This law can be expressed by the following simple equation: E* = sT 4 where E* is the amount of radiation emitted by the body in Watts per square meter, s is a constant equal to 0.0000000567, and T is the temperature of the body in Kelvins.
